Soon there will be a legal requirement for windows and doors to meet new thermal performance levels.
The new standards will in most cases require the use of higher specifications of glass than are currently being used. Improvements in the thermal performance of frames are also increasing the overall performance of windows and doors.
To demonstrate compliance with the new regulations you will need to show that your windows and doors can reasonably be proven to meet the standards. This can be achieved in various ways, the number of which is likely to increase as more certification bodies come forward.
