The new premises in Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, are close to the M6, M61 and M65 motorway links - an ideal location for access to the national major motorway network. The move brings with it numerous benefits for customers of Sliders UK.

The new 40,000 sq foot factory floor has enabled Sliders UK to lay out three linear production lines, enabling the company to make 600 patio doors and 100 VEKA vertical sliding windows a week. There is also space for significant growth in line with customer demand.

It is anticipated that 15-20 new jobs will be created over the next six months following the move.

The large yard with 13 loading bays means that Sliders UK can now facilitate efficient loading for distribution in line with increased production turnover. To make the most of this extra space, Sliders UK plans to buy several new vehicles to increase its fleet.

In addition to the manufacturing benefits, the new site includes a large showroom in which Sliders UK will display its full range of patio and window products in situ. With new products and security upgrades in the pipeline, the showroom will provide the opportunity for trade customers and specifiers to come and see the products for themselves. Mike Spain, joint director of Sliders UK explained that the time was right to branch out into the new workspace: “The facilities at the new site are a great step onwards and upwards for us. The move will enable us to produce even more units per week to meet greater demands, ensuring that we can continue to turn orders around quickly and deliver on our promises.
