Sliders (UK) Ltd., the UK’s largest patio door specialist, has completed a large project comprising 200 replacement vertical sliding sash windows for T. A. Anders.

This was the first job won by Sliders (UK) for T. A. Anders to supply and install specially designed sliding windows for Swinton Town Hall, which is a listed building.  The key issue was that, due to the great height of the windows, the staff would not have been able to open them with the standard opening system.

Sliders (UK) were able to provide the answer with a bespoke opening mechanism. This creative response was the main reason for winning the contract, along with their professionalism and technical knowledge.

It was important that they are a Veka fabricator, as we are, but more importantly it was the inventive solution that they came up with that sealed the deal.

“They changed the design and came up with a new locking mechanism. The particular problem was solved with speed and precision – a superb response.”
