The Sliders UK Factory
Our state-of-the-art 40,000 sq foot factory enables us to operate four linear production lines. This allows the best possible flow of production so we can manufacture a great line of quality products to detailed specifications.
Investment into the latest machinery and ongoing training for our staff means our products are always of the highest standard. To make our fantastic products we currently use; two Sturtz double stacking vertiquad welders, four Elumatec turret head welders, five CNC corner cleaners, two Promac CNC routers and four Elumatec computerised saws and a whole lot of top fabricators and production staff!
A separate unit within the compound is now utilized for the production of vertical sliding windows. Like our patio door production lines the set-up has been custom designed for maximum efficiency and quality.
With a state of the art new showroom in development for 2009 we will be able to display our range of patio and window products and demonstrate their unique security features in situ. This will be a great opportunity for you to see how our products look and work for yourself and even to demonstrate to your customers if you require.
Good transport links close to the national motorway network teamed with an impressive fleet of lorries mean that Sliders UK can guarantee free delivery within five working days for their full patio door range. Our fleet of twelve bespoke 7.5 tonne and 3.5 tonne ‘walk-on walk-off’ vehicles enable us to transport up to 40 patio doors at a time whilst safely loading and unloading two, three and four pane patio doors can be achieved with relative ease. When the fleet is back at base 13 loading bays provide us with all the space we need.
With plenty of office space and board rooms on site it means we are always on top of our game, as all of our sales and business management functions are in the same place as our production facilities, so our entire workforce has a good overview of what’s happening throughout the company.
